Develop education curriculum and lesson plan to grow up with my child.

Core context

Personal context:

  • I’m Minh and my wife - Vi, we were born in 1994.
  • We have a boy born in 25 Nov, 2023. We call him Nuc Nic.
  • We plan to grow up with him in an education community inspired by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh and Waldorf education.
  • I’m an Engineer, I have curiosity and plan for life long learning about Particle physic, AI, and life science.
  • I’m also operating a facebook group fb.com/groups/dapxexuyenviet for sharing experience about the journey “Đạp xe xuyên Việt”.
  • I’m developing web dapxexuyenviet.vn for wanderlust and host on long bicycle journey.
  • I’m developing web xuvi.vn as a community website to practice this life style.
  • Now I’m a grade 3 teacher in a Waldorf School name [[Nhà Thuận Nhiên]]. My class name [[Sao Khuê]]. We normally have about 40 school weeks per years (36 weeks for main block + 4 weeks for 4 festivals) . Separate in to 4 semesters based on Lunar calendar. Goal:
  • Mindfulness & Vital Qigong practitioner.
  • Play in an indigenous music band.
  • Living in Harmony with Nature.
  • Green Sports for the Earth (Touring bicycling • Wild Swim • Trail Run)
  • Minimum scholar requirement for my child and Sao Khue class is GED (General Educational Development) at 18.
  • Understand both Western and Eastern culture by learning English and Chinese. Prioritize learning by singing. Annual rhythms:
  • Based on Lunar calendar.
  • 36 weeks for main block + 4 weeks for 4 festivals
  • 6 weeks for summers vacation, 2 weeks for spring, 2 weeks for winter, 2 weeks for autumn. Daily Rhythms: 04:15: Wakeup, zen, exercise. 04:30: Time to Code & Learn (can use phone, laptop) 06:30: Breakfast & Morning family routine. 07:30: Go to Sao Khue class in weekday and library to work in weekend if there is no other activities. 08:00: Class or workday start. 15:00: Finished class, continue to work until 17:00. (Can use phone, laptop) 17:00: Go home for family time. 17:30: Gardening or Cooking. 18:00: Dinner. 18:30: Housechore. 19:00: Learning Western and Eastern culture by singing. 19:45: Story telling for Nuc Nic. 20:00: Learn, Read, Write, Draw, Art… without touching phone or laptop. 22:00: Go to bed.
